Privacy Policy

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.     1. This Privacy Policy forms part of the PlayCrowd Terms and Conditions.
    2. The purpose of this privacy policy is to describe the information handling practices of the PlayCrowd mobile application and website.
    3. PlayCrowd is bound by all applicable EU Data Protection laws and regulations.
    4. “Personal Information” is defined as any information about you from which you can be personally identified. This includes your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and billing information.
    5. PlayCrowd, and PlayCrowd’s providers and suppliers, will process your Personal Information in order to provide our range of services.
    6. Your Personal Information is gathered:
      1. when you register an account with us, or when you submit a written query to us;
      2. when you interact with us or our services;
      3. from third parties, such as credit reference agencies;
      4. from your interaction with our services, such as your phone number should you call us, IP address, operating system, time zone setting;
      5. from analytic and troubleshooting tools;
      6. through geo-tagging.

If you do not wish to provide your Personal Information on the basis set out in this Privacy Policy, you should not enter the relevant information in the spaces provided on the PlayCrowd application or website and you should not make use of our services. In this case, you will not be permitted to make full use of the PlayCrowd application.
    8. By using the PlayCrowd application or website, you acknowledge that you have read, and agree to, the terms of this Privacy Policy and that you consent PlayCrowd to the use of your Personal Information for the purposes set out below.
    9. From time to time we may need to edit this Privacy Policy to keep it relevant and provide you with the best possible service. Please make sure you read the latest version when accessing the PlayCrowd application or website.

    1. PlayCrowd only uses Personal Information:
      1. To set up, operate and manage your account so that you can make full use of the services on the PlayCrowd application;
      2. To carry out the verification process and confirm your identity (including the disclosing your information to third parties such as age verification agencies, financial institutions and credit reference agencies).
      3. To process any transactions made by you;
      4. To verify the location where activities took place;
      5. For us to be able to receive and respond to any queries you make via contacting us;
      6. To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so
      7. To ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;
      8. To analyse how we provide our service and make improvements;
      9. To keep you informed of any future events, products, offers or promotions that we consider may be of interest to you;
      10. To gather statistical information on your and other customers’ usage of the PlayCrowd application and website through analytics tools;
      11. To prepare and display tailored marketing material and promotions (this may include using your geo-location);
      12. To send you written communications to announce important service changes, technical issue updates and changes to the Terms and Conditions (including this Privacy Policy) and/or Game Rules;
      13. To conform to legal requirements or comply with legal processes;
      14. In the investigation of any unlawful, criminal or fraudulent activities related to the use of the PlayCrowd services;
      15. To monitor for unlawful, fraudulent, irresponsible or dangerous activity or any activity which breaches our Terms and Conditions.
    2. PlayCrowd may occasionally research our database of registered users in order to continue to update the PlayCrowd platform with new functionalities, games and features.   
    3. PlayCrowd will not send any unsolicited information regarding third party offers or commercial advertisements.
    4. We may transfer your Personal Information in the event we transfer or sell our business, including in the event of insolvency. In such an event, your information will be managed in accordance with the relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
    5. We have the right to share your Personal Information with other PlayCrowd companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and suppliers only for the above listed purposes. All recipients of your Personal Information shall be bound to process and store your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection and privacy laws.
    6. We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose in order to comply with any legal obligation, to protect Zulko Gaming Limited’s rights or the rights of any other customers or other third parties. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
    7. Personal Information may be stored or processed in any country in which PlayCrowd or its affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers or agent hold facilities, including outside of the European Community. If you use our services, you consent to the same.
    8. The application and website may contain links to websites operated by third parties other than PlayCrowd. PlayCrowd is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these websites.
    9. Emails and telephone calls to and from our Support Team, may be recorded for training and security purposes
    10. If at any time you wish for us to stop processing your Personal Information for the above purposes, then please contact our Support Team at support@getplaycrowd.com. Please note that this may require for your PlayCrowd account to be closed.
  3. Your rights
    1. The right to access. You have the right to request from us copies of your personal data.
    2. The right to rectification. You have the right to request that we update, correct and/or complete any personal data you believe is inaccurate and/or incomplete.
    3. The right to erasure. You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
    4. The right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
    5. The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to us processing your personal data, under certain conditions.
    6. The right to data portability. You have the right to request that we transfer your personal data that we collected to another organisatio, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
    7. If you would like to make a request, please contact our Support Team at support@getplaycrowd.com. Our Support Team will have 30 days to reply to you.
  4. Marketing Communications
    1. As part of the account registration process, you are asked to confirm whether you would like to receive marketing communications about future events, products, offers and promotions from PlayCrowd.
    2. If you wish to opt-in to receiving such marketing communications, you should ‘tick’ the relevant box during the account registration process.
    3. You may update your marketing preferences at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in all our emailed marketing communications.
  5. Contact Us
    1. If at any time you believe that PlayCrowd has not adhered to the principles contained within this Privacy Policy, please notify us by contacting our Support Team at support@getplaycrowd.com and we will use all reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
    2. If you believe we have not addressed your concerns sufficiently, you may escalate the matter further to your local Data Protection Authority.
